Default One final render

After all the iterations of C8 renders I've drawn, I decided to give it one final shot before the real car is unveiled. Absolutely no claims that this is remotely correct, but after looking at a few other guy's work (ie: Chaz and the FVS), I felt it needed a few updates. We'll all know soon, but in the meantime, I hope you all like it

Mike

Not a bad render. The headlights look like they are set too far back towards the windshield though.

In this view, yes, they do, but the intent was for the rest of the light to be on the other side of the fender peak and extend farther forward. Thanks

Beautiful work Vette. When I came back to the forum for the C8 goodies I would have bet the farm the new car would have almost matched your drawing. Now, after a couple hundred hours on the forum I believe the car is going to be more radical. Yes, another opinion- we will soon see.

Very nice version, hope the forward seat look's ok when view one..I may be stuck in the past design's and not sure if just to radical for some older fans.

It's a cool piece of work. That depicts a corpulent, chaotic, design that's had a foot and a half of its nose chopped off.

I do like your render treatment especially the scoop segment on the door. Looks very exotic probably because it appears a little stretched out lengthwise to me. Or maybe as it is displayed on my iPad. Anyway, I made your render a little taller as IMO the C8 will be.

The proportions are from the mule photo that I originally sketched on. That pic may have been slightly distorted by the telephoto lens that was used, but I don’t know enough about photography to confirm that. Also note the black rocker panel disappears into the shadows here, which thins it up somewhat.

Funny thing I noticed just now, but in my avatar, the same render of the car looks less stretched to me. Go figure.
Mike

Looks great!
If the actual C8 looks this good I expect GM will have a difficult time keeping up with the demand unless they get greedy and decide to increase the base price dramatically.
