I received this the week of the C7 ZR1 reveal. Yes I believe that journalists are sitting on photos of the C8.

All I understood was twin turbo and Mary Barra! But I'm willing to bet that's what it will look like right there.

Has body lines...that is the thing I noticed.

Who dat do dat?

Click for YouTube film - very interesting, skip ad and have patience with film.

I’m certain this is the real deal.... and if so holy ****!!!

i always had faith the subtle differences in lines with real thing would make all the difference with the actual car versus all these renders (as great as many were). That thing is gorgeous.

"Chevrolet Corvette C8 (2019): New Release - Sketch - Engine - Info

- 06/16/2019

Corvette comes with mid-engine

The Chevrolet Corvette is being revolutionized. The sports car classic from Chevrolet comes in the eighth generation for the first time with a mid-engine instead of the usual front engine with transaxle design. So the Ami wants to hunt for his European competition. And that's what the V8 racer might look like."

It's a rendering. See above quotation

Have a very strong inclination it’s the real thing leaked early by the Germans lol.

Yes very similar but this actually looks nice and cohesive rather than somewhat goofy! It's small subtle differences that make a huge difference in overall design as you know based on your renderings. Still not sure if this is the actual car though. And still not loving the rear end!!

Wow, front is gorgeous and the back is meh. Hopefully the ZO6 version can help the rear some.

Yes. Movie theaters hold movies, warehouses hold books, magazines hold articles. Contract lawyers make wheelbarrows full of money for a reason.

I'm surprised this thread isn't busier, the front definitely looks like it could be the real deal. Or if it's not, damn it's still beautiful!

Was just thinking the same thing. I watched the thread on c8 brake dust get more activity. 🙄. I get that it still is a render but........

What do you think FVS? Do you think this is someone taking yours or chazcron's work and tweaking some details or does it look like the real deal in your opinion?

It's a rendering, likely based on Chaz' model. No doubt they have used our renders to build their own renderings/model. They got some details wrong like the side Q window and exact placements of some details and lines.

I am sure the front will look something like this... only better. A little stronger and more refined IMO.

look at these strong lines...

I got a strong feeling that the video and the front end from the magazine are it. Those wheels will not be on the base. If so, it looks awesome!

I'm surprised this thread isn't busier.

Those wheels have been on the mules all along, Why can't they be base?

The front end is no doubt close to what we will see but I feel there will be some fine details and refinement.

Thanks for the response, it's great to hear that it'll look even better as imo that front end looks really nice(almost too good to be a base model).
