Rick Corvette Conti has a vlog out telling us we will NOT be driving the C8 car until after Jan 1...I expect he knows more than we do...so...After Jan 1st to drive it...Ordering maybe in Nov or Dec? Guessing...

I have heard ordering much sooner than that, first deliveries taking place in late November and December.
Rick Conti said this in his video weeks ago then at Carlisle in past 24 hours GMs Tadge confirmed again that he hopes they will deliver by end of Q1 2020. This is not new news... Sept Oct Nov Allocations only start to build Dec then they all sit in QC for some time and then release in batches. Rick nailed it weeks ago ...
I'm a later order guy as I want Blade Silver, 2LT,Z51, etc. IIRC Blade Silver is Constrained until November.
If I'm driving it by June of 2020 I'll be VERY happy.
But...here's another thought. They HAVE made the assembly line larger, HAVE hired 400 new workers, so best case scenario things go smoothly and they QUICKLY ramp up assembly with good quality Control. We could ALL be getting C8's months earlier than expected!
Do you think any dealers in 2020 are going to have a c8 on the showroom floor for sale? bought my last two that way
Just a guess but I believe dealers will get them very early. THEY ordered them long before anyone put a deposit down for them. And, they know with long waiting lists they can sell them way over MSRP on the showroom floor.
My guess is dealers are demanding they get them as soon as possible
