I think the purest will not be so happy with the rear engine design. However, some didn't like the non-pop up headlights. Turns outs, a lot of people love them now. I think every generation will have things people like and dislike about them. To be honest, each generation has gotten better in terms of performance. I can't wait to see it.

Purists? The 'father of the vette' was on a mission for the car to be mid-engined... I'd say purists DEMAND the car be mid-engined.
