Just curious, what % of corvette owners will ever push the handling limits of the C8 on/off a road course compared to the % that will go full throttle 0-60? They can’t make the car perfect in every single way starting @ $60k. HP, 0-60, quarter-mile times, looks and prestige sell these cars. I believe they took a step in the right direction in all of these areas and I believe sales will validate this.

it’ll be around 95-98% of owners will never push the car. Z06’s often just end up as a bragging right. I’ll get the c8 on the drag strip so that I can make people cry in the 1/8th mile and I’ll take it on the track too just for my own giggles. I’ll also have it on the tail of the dragon.

Hell, most vette owners in my club have garage queens. Rub it with a diaper and only let it off the leash in pristine weather conditions. I mentioned to one "collector" (he was saving it in the hopes of cashing in on appreciation) that in rain I'd usually start in 2nd gear for traction purposes. His indignant reply: "You drive your GS in the rain!!!???"
