so all stingrays are z51... right... which all start at 60K.. with 0-60 under 3sec.......mam i missing something? I bet they are charging $1000 for those rain windshield sensors

The car looks amazing, the performance is amazing, the price is amazing...if you don't think this car is a work of art, you're a "hater" plain and simple. The ZR1 version or whatever they call it is going to be..................amazing....lol!

It’s funny that the people that said it would be over $70k or $80k are now here justifying it with “well with options it’ll be XX”. Just admit you were wrong and move along now so we can enjoy this awesome looking car from Chevy.

I just told my wife I lied to her. There will be a C8 in the garage. From what I saw and heard, this was a home run by GM. Looking forward to more info!!

Base model will have faster 0-60 time than Ford GT. The price is just insane when added in. Major home run for Chevy.

If you honestly think the majority of the C7 sales were equipped with Z51, I've got news for you. They will sell a dumb number of bare bones C8's as the performance overall will still be there for under $60k. A Z51 package alone, will not increase the performance so much that the base is 4 seconds to 60mph and somehow the DCT is sluggish and bad. Historically the Z51 package has been suspension/handling and not engine performance. That just means even the base will be well within "spitting" distance of a C8 Z51.
