Default Harness installation

Probably getting a little ahead of myself here but wondering if the aluminum bulkhead panel behind seats will be more accommodating regarding mounting of 5 point shoulder harness belts at a proper angle. Adding a harness bar could be difficult given the interior layout. All the seat options look harness friendly (at least for shoulder harness use). Wondering if drilling the bulkhead (for lack of the possible correct term) and adding some gussets on the engine side would be a possible way to go. In any case, hopefully the next higher performance version will include proper mounting points for track use. In any case, way to go GM. Hell of a car!

The Camo'd cars had Sparco seats with a harness and what looked like a roll bar, so I'm sure there's a way of adding it..

Check out Paragon Performance, CMC and Peilz for harness bar options. I’m trying to see how I can a 5 or 6 point harness also. All have 4 point mounting options. I think paragon has the most cost effective for a 4 point. Looking for the anti-dive added strap.

I installed the Peitz harness bar as the middle section is routed over the center console with no drilling in it. I had to cut the holes behind the seats in the sides and the harness bar mounted via 4 bolts. You must have small hands to get the nuts on as there is not much room. My wife was able to do that part for me though. I also got the Peitz harness adapter for my seat as I daily drive my car and these are simple to clip on. I run a Schroth 4 point harness with anti-submarine as I have the GT2 seats and is is very good at keeping my stable.
