Agreed. Didnt the C5 have a panel that could be removed for a plate similar to this?

C7 had a contoured add on that went on the center of the grill. Not like this pop out cover.

Ive been driving in Ct. for 10 years without a front plate; never had a problem...Guess it depends on your locality.

Any chance we could mount a plate behind that panel, then keep it covered. If the cops give us any trouble we could have "forgotten to remove it after a car show! Give me 1 second officer, I'm so sorry!"

Yes, and you could put the cover back on at any time to cover any license plate holes.
