Doing general maintenance on previous vettes was easy. The C8 looks like a game changer in the way of forcing owners to take their vettes back to the stealerships.

So it sounds like people who do basic maintenance will be able to continue to do so. Not sure modding or any serious repairs will be tackled without dropping the motor.
Looks like the oil filter is readily accessible and with the 7.5 quart dry sump system integrated with the engine probably only one drain plug! Now to get that 0W-40 ESP oil at a decent price and buy when Mobil has their rebates!
No clutch so no yearly Ranger Method changing fluid! The cabin air filter should be easy to access from the Frunk, no engine in the way!
The Throttle Body also looks like it's easy to access for a Modified one as I installed on my Grand Sport! That will be "down the line!"
Wonder if the brake dust will be reasonable or hopefully Carbotech will have pads ready to swap!
As expected, any significant engine or trans issues will require dropping the engine (as most ME's.) Hopefully GM made that as simple as possible for a dealer!.
Why is no one talking about this?

Oil changes don't look much more difficult than on prior Vettes. What else needs to be done frequently, these days?
Air filter replacement, tire pressure, brake replacement, windshield wiper replacement... probably about the same as before, although I'm not sure about the air filter.

When i went from Corvettes to Mercedes Benz it was a new experience working on them. But I was able to buy the factory software suite for less than 10 dollars on ebay and unlike the Corvette I now had the manuals. I simply followed the directions and surprise they turned out to be easy to work on. Just different is all.
What? A simple oil change on a benz is ridiculous, 1/2 hour removing plastic panels just to get to the drain plug.
Funny on my Mercedes v12 I simply stand at the front of the car with the hood open. I have a pump that sucks the oil out of the engine and the oil filter is on top front of the engine. I never even have to get on the ground and I have NO plastic panels to remove to change the oil. EASIEST car I ever changed oil in.
My other v8 Mercedes i have NO plastic panels to remove to change the oil.
So your incorrect in your statment on at least two of the Benz cars.
