Default Z51 wing removable?

Ok so I was wondering, and I looked through the threads a bit, and there’s a ton of those, and couldn’t find my answer. So, I’m gonna be that guy adding yet another!

I love everything else about the Z51 package, but love the look of the rear without a spoiler. My question is, if you remove the spoiler, does it leave holes? I know, obviously, it’ll be counterintuitive to what the Z51 package is for. But if I’m just using as a cruiser mainly, and occasionally have some fun with maybe at a track, am I really gonna be missing out on it’s benefits all THAT much?

Also, has anyone photoshopped the Z51 car without the wing and see how it looks? Would love to see what it looks like!

Yes, it leaves holes and there is no “spoiler delete” option in the order guide. Regarding what it looks like, use the online configurator and deselect Z51 to see the back end without a spoiler. About the only other visible effect of deselecting Z51 will be to eliminate the front splitter, everything else is not really noticeable in the resulting images.

Was wondering if you could just order the parts of the Z51 package that you wanted but appears that most are Z51 only. Seems that the only one that you can order as stand alone is the NPP performance exhaust.

Everything is Z51 focused. To get the Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension you must order the Z51.

Seems that the Z51 package should have been standard but they were trying to meet a price point.

Damn that sucks! Hmm, wonder if they’ll offer the build tour option, so that when you watch your actual car be built, try and convince them to give you a non z51 bumper so no holes haha. I want all the Z51 offers like bigger brakes, exhaust, performance suspension, MRC, LSD, etc just not that damn wing haha

I also love the car without a spoiler ! To many buyers that are on a limited budget or don't care about the extras of the Z51 would go for the base model as even the base C8 will outperform a C7 Z06 from the looks of it.
