If you look in the configuration tool, and move to a top-down position, several of the engine parts are bright red, no matter what color the car. Now THAT would be cool, but the text pages say nothing of that color.
My question is are these lights only for when the trunk opens are can you have them on when close any idea I'm going to little falls Aug 5 where I put a deposit on the car and hope I can get an answer the guys from Atlantic city had no idea
I am think the lights come stock on all C-8s. Just as all corvettes in the past have a hood lights. Looks like a after market item to me that will stay on any color that you want.

I was shocked to see that Schumacher in Little Falls will get to display the car. It happens to be within a mile of my office. I'll see you there!
The two LED lights under the hatch, and carbon fiber applied to the supports on either side of the engine.
The lights appear to be clear. Are they on only when the the hatch cover is raised? Look like standard issue underhood lighting if so. Sync'd with the headlights? On demand with a dedicated switch? Great jpg thanks.
So I finally saw a serious video on this package and here’s the skinny. The lights in the appearance package are at the top interior of the engine lid/trunk. There are two of them and they are white only and are set to come on when the trunk is opened. As they are set way up near the hinge, they will not light the trunk itself but only cast white light down on the engine. As for the carbon fiber, those are basically two plates with louvers that cover the metal struts/braces and some of the engine piping and wiring on each side of the engine. While they definitely add that carbon-fiber look, I have some concerns that they will reduce airflow to the engine compartment, even with the louvering. Personally, it’s a tough call on whether this is worth it. If you are the guy or gal who has to have ALL the cosmetics, then it’s probably worth the extra $995. But given the vanity type lighting and that these appear to be bolt over additions I agree with those who believe there will be some better aftermarket options for this.
