Default C8 underside pics

For those interested in what the underside of the new 2020 C8 looks like, I snapped a few pics while a car hauler was dropping off a 2019 C7 for our dealership. Looks like there is an open area in the underneath panels designed to provide access to the oil filter. Just an FYI for those who want to DIY. The underside is pretty much covered in panels. Also, this C8 (a Z51 model) was on the trailer with three other C7s. The Trident wheels on it looked a lot better then I thought. They were the Spectra Gray Machined version with the machined spokes and rim.

This C8 was bound for the Milford Proving Grounds. Heard shipments of production units won't start until the December timeframe.

Hope this helps those who might be curious about servicing the new C8.

Awesome post, thanks for sharing! Looks like changing the belt will be somewhat difficult or will at least require removing a few dozen bolts to gain access.

That thing looks buttoned up. Not too much to see with all that paneling.

That's going to be interesting for those that drive in winter where places get snow.. Even with snow tires on, that's a lot of flat even surface to end up high-centered on even driving through the driven snow line ruts.

Looks like they decided against a diffuser. Good thing; otherwise you could maybe carry only one golf bag.
