C8 interior noise levels
It should be quieter than the current C7 coupe without the cavernous, road-noise resonating, rear cargo area and thin floors. Evidence of that is how much quieter the C7 convertible is. Rear engine noise should be no worse than the C7 engine location.

The noise level in my C7 Z06 is annoying, tiresome and intrusive, but imo it’s mostly tire and road noise amplified by the giant resonating chamber under the rear hatch. The architecture of the C8 will alleviate that, I hope.
It has Bose noise canceling system. It will be very quiet. It does best with a rhythmic regular sound blocking.
I have ave it on my Cadillac ELR and it makes the interior quiet especially high speed on the highway.
there are microphones that listen to the sound and the sound system speakers produce the opposite sound wave cancelling it out.
Wont have drone in there
there is a thread here describing the Bose system and it is explained there
And the new Bose system is supposed to be most advanced yet.

C8 is quieter than the C7 according to the engineers. They have had complaints about road noise for several generations of Corvettes now. The tires are 16" further back from the ears. They put additional sound deadening in to block the engine noise, and that has resulted in less road noise. The firewall has two layers of aluminum with a sound damping material in between. There are thermal barrier materials on the engine side that block noise, and sound absorption material on the cockpit side.
I looking forward to auditioning the C8 for myself.
