Can someone tell me if the interior stitching running up the center stack is real stitching or just molded into the material to look at like stitching?
Caddy does that in their cars and it looks terrible. I'm hoping they went with real stitching.

Stitching thread diameter on the C8 is larger — so it has a more bold appearance.. (Source: Brett Golliff, Color and Trim Manager). It looks better too.

I’ve no doubt all the stitching is real, the GE Rep answering questions at the Kerbeck C8 Display told me so. But he could not answer this question. What is the color of the stitching on the 2LT dash that is black, therefore areas other than on the red/natural surfaces here? These two examples look gray/black as it is on all black interiors unless 3LT where you can choose A Red (38S) or Yellow (36S). Examples included GT2 two-tone seats all configured on the web site.
A thanks to elegant who suggested to me to look at various C8 interior review videos which clearly show coordinated stitching colors depending on interior color choices in actual cars not just what’s seen on the configure site.
I went back to the configure site but this time zoomed much closer. It was easier to see in this 2LT Natural Interior Picture the stitching is natural too.
There are many different stitch color options. They are GM matched to the primary interior color (with exceptions too).
Also as most know, one could for some interiors, also pay extra and get yellow or red stitching. As told to me during the reveal by Brett Golliff, Color and Trim Manager, the stitching in the C8 is more pronounced, with its larger thread diameter.

What model/year Caddy? I've owned multiple and all the stitching is real in the ones I have owned.
