Default ELSD-How much better than regular LSD?

I am just wondering how much these help your 0-60 times, I think the c7 has a pdr on that. Much better in corners? Snow/wet conditions?

Might be a a flipping point on the whole getting a z51 or not

I get the idea of how they work and the potential, probably mostly an improvement when accelerating out of a corner.

I did a search on this forum and the c7 forum and did not find a whole lot of real world information other than some people having problems with them.

I imagine in the snow/wet the abs probably fires in fine with the standard lsd.

so strait acceleration, not much improvement?

will be nicer in turn in and turn out on road course?

LSD is bad for you all around no matter what type it is.. drugs are a bad idea, I suggest just have a beer now and then..

Wasn’t there a mega thread on this yesterday? People don’t search or look past the first page anymore?

Among other things, the ELSD allows features like Performance Traction Management (PTM) offering 5 different Track settings (Wet, Dry, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Race), which debuted in the C7. It is a tremendous innovation.

It's not just useful for track work. Track PTM Wet is a terrific setting for spirited driving on the street, and it's a great alternative to regular Weather mode which just basically dampens the the throttle response.

When I compare my non-E diff cars to the E diff cars there is not much real world difference especially in rain and snow. For example the LSD on my 2013 ZL1 works really well (even on the track) and I don't see a lot of improvement over the ELSD on the Z06. I would get the Z51 over the base model, but I wouldn't use the ELSD as a reason.
