Maybe you didn't know but, Chevrolet also makes the Camaro, so things with similar design appearances is probably because it's the same manufacturer.

For example...notice the Mclaren 570 below, then see how eerily somewhat similar the Mclaren P1 and Mclaren 675 look.....see that...

If you don’t like what you see, who cares? Why is it that there’s always someone that wants to pick things apart. Like one post said, it’s pretty much specifically designed for that car.

Oh crap, they’ve stolen the round tires from the Camaro too.

I had a 65’ Mustang that I wanted to put a custom steering wheel on and while removing the original steering wheel, I discovered under the horn button it was actually from a Ford Falcon.

Can you get the sport exhaust with the non-Z51 car like you could with the C7? If so, I may go that route, really don’t like the wing.

And, the OP is right. What the wing does is pretty, how it looks...not so much. It IS better looking than that hideous Z51 spoiler, though, so I would consider it anyway. Ideally, Z51 would be available with spoiler delete, but it doesn't sound like that will be the case.

I like the low Z51 wing best. For the wilder, more track-focused look I like the high wing plus ground effects, but I probably won’t do that. The no-wing look is my least favorite.

Perhaps active aero is in the Corvette’s future. We can all hope it becomes an option.

I’m sure we can all agree that we don’t want rear lift at speed in a car this fast. It’s not just about the looks.

I love the tall wing, but I’m an old fart and probably can’t see straight.

By the way, I heard the C8 might have the same tires as a Camaro and Mustang. Oh the horror!

What would be nice but probably tough to accomplish is if they could make the high wing quickly removable. Either a quick release (similar to on bicyces) from the inside (peel back carpet in trunk area), or from the outside with some type of security key.

I love both the high wing and spoilerless look and it would be cool to easily switch back and forth depending on the occassion.

Eg. taking the car to a wedding, prefer the spoilerless cleaner, classier look. But for casual spirited drives, prefer the high wing.

The 1le is one hell of a car, that wing provides up to 300lbs of downforce

Wedding??? I need a place to rest my glass of bourbon. That tall wing looks pretty handy.

Lol...out of respect for the bride I removed my Z51 high wing before parking it out in the back 40. Thanks for the humor!

On the C8 Corvette looks great, specially on a blue one. On the Camaro it doesn't look good, looks ricey

The OP made a statement and an observation. No need for personal attacks. If you can't add something positive to the thread just move on..

How do you add something positive to a negative thread? OP said, "Ugh!" so if I say, "I agree. Ugh!" that is positive, or just another negative? If I say, "I think it's beautiful," I contradict the OP, so is that negative? Or is that positive. So am I supposed to be positive OP, or do I have your permission to be positive Corvette?
