Paint quality?
For those who have seen the car in person what is your opinion on the paint quality. Just wondering since they spent untold millions on the new paint shop, must be better? Always thought my 2015 Z06 had good paint but I am not an expert!

It is not fair to judge the paint quality or any other quality on the cars being shipped around to dealers. These are the same cars that were under camo not too long ago. They're beat up test mules.

The updated paint shop has been painting C7s for over a year, so I'd expect the quality to be similar to what you're seeing on C7s at dealers. Much more consistent that what we saw on the early C7s.

I was at the launch in Tustin, the paint looked excellent with no orange peal evident on any of the C8`s, but you would expect at this event GM would have the paint jobs close to perfect.
