Not quite correct. You can get colored stitching at no cost for 1LT and 2LT if you choose colored seats. For example I am getting red GT1 seats, and then all the stitching becomes red for the entire interior including the black steering wheel and other black areas.
If you use the GM Configure for 2LT A Red, GT2 Seats Two-Tone (Black Seat Middle/A Red Border) then focus in close it shows the stitching to be Red. The same configure using Natural came up Natural Stitching. Try it yourself. I will confirm next week at Carlisle before my order goes 3000.

Check in the visualizer. If you choose Adrenaline Red or Skyblue seats (both available for 1LT) you get matching color stitching included with the seat color at no cost. Same for Natural but that requires 2LT.

Not sure this correct, despite the visualizer. The visualizer shows red stitching with 1LT with ARed seats. But I have read somewhere along the way that the stitching would be GREY with all LT1 seat colors...The red interior stitching would be great with the red seats but this needs to be verified...

All I can tell you is that if you configure 1LT with Red seats in the Visualizer all the stitching goes red and the highlight at the top of the steering wheel goes red. Also, If I configure it as a 2LT and then change it back to a 1 LT the rest of the interior (speaker grills, etc. ) reverts to 1LT trim but the red stitching remains. Unless you can find a GM source that states that 1LT colored seats only come with grey stitching, I would go with what the Visualizer shows. It will force seat and interior upgrades for all the other combinations that require GT2 or 2LT/3LT so I would be surprised if they massively screwed this up.
