Sorry, OP. No one has any right to touch your car, or vandalize it, etc.

I like how it's said that threads like this that are deemed a "waste" of space" get over 100 responses Seems like a pretty valid use of space based on that. If you go through these thread topics, is there a single, solitary thread topic that directly deals with the car itself that HASN'T been posted? If so, post them! Everyone keep posting anything and everything you want to that deals directly or indirectly with the C8. Helps pass the time until you're driving one!

When I was a kid 19, we all went into the city. We went to a diner, as we walked back to out cars we saw a dirtbag run a key down one of the cars. My friend was 6'8" - , my other friend was 6'4" tall. Needless to say the beating that ensued most likely corrected the dirtbags future actions. Shame you can't do it today.

During the spring we had 6 cars on the block broken into and damaged.

We just had 8 to 9 cars damaged on my block by a hit and run driver- no one really cares.

Put a camera in the car and put a sign that the car is protected by camera - it usually works. I just put a motion camera in my car for that reason.

Parking guard in the south bronx solved the issue and protected the vehicles.
We had a problem so my company hired a security guard to look over the parking lot, but vandalism increased. Turns out the security guard had a drug problem and he was the culprit.

Lazy! No drive or ambition. This country affords you the opportunity to be, or get anything you want. Now if you choose to do it illegally you should pay the price. If you apply yourself, work hard and do something you love, the sky is the limit. NOTHING should be handed to you. Our country accepting and wanting more socialism is reaping the rewards and fruits of their labor.

I grew up poor, we did not have the luxuries but did have the basics. Both parents worked hard and made a living that way. We never ate out or went to restaurants. Cars were kept for 15+ years until they were unfixable. No designer shoes or clothes. We were taught to respect / take care of our things and others property.

No, it's just like the sign that says don't feed the wild life, it makes them dependent on you.

When the Gov gives free crap for years, why work, go to school when you get everything for free.

A girl here told the radio reported she wanted 4 kids as that got her the best apartment and stuff. She did not want a job or husband. Just free stuff.. It gives her free cable, phone, tv, internet and food. She learned to play the system.

Then one day , they realize they live in a S Hole and want better but don't have the skills or drive. So they take it out on anything nice.

Also, Why steal crap from a neighbor when you can travel to a better neighborhood and steal better stuff.

It's a very sad situation that crosses all lines.

I live in a suburb of Buffalo NY..I would not even consider driving my 2019 C7 GS into the city...not just because of the prospect of having it vandalized....the city streets are like Beirut.!

That's sad. My dad's family is from Elmira. I'd hate to think of what is like now.

I'm pretty careful these days where I park my Vette. I use our other cars when I'm going to a location where I suspect there is a higher incidence of parking damage...intentional or not.

The last 2 cars that I rented in the past three months both got sizable door dents while the cars were reasonably parked. One guy did it right in front of me and acted like no big deal. Both of incidents were in small town America.

That has to be the most stupid, dumb *** comment of the year.
