Auto lock?

Auto lock?
On my C7, the console compartment does not lock and you lock the glove box by going into valet mode.
In the C8, I believe both the console compartment and the glove box are lockable. I would prefer that they automatically lock when I exit the car. anybody know if you can do this on the C8, or must you still put it in valet mode?
It is really a very minor feature. just curious.

One of the articles I read the day after the release said the center console locked when you locked the car.
It made no mention of the glove box, and I have no way to verify if the info in that article is correct.
