C8 - No Fit
I had the opportunity yesterday to sit in the new C8 at Carlisle, PA. I am sorry to say that I do not fit. I can only speak for myself and this is not a statement for all tall drivers. I am 6'4" and 230 lbs. With the seat all the way back and lowered as much as possible, my head impacts the cross member behind the lift-off top. All seat adjustments were unsuccessful in giving me the necessary head room. The Corvette rep suggested that I bring the seat forward so that I could increase the seat back rake. This is not a comfortable position for my back as it would mean driving 'gangster' style.
My advice for all tall drivers, and heavy ones too, is to make sure you are really comfortable before you order one. I would suggest that you wait until you can drive one to see how you fit. For me, I have more room in the C7. For me, the C8 is a no go.
Don't get me wrong, the C8 is a wonder to see and the tech is amazing. Chevy has a great product, just not for me.

Supposedly there is more leg room than the C7, did you attempt to move the seat closer to the steering wheel and have the seat back more upright to avoid the cross member? There is more headroom that way if you do, as long as you have enough leg room.
@MY04CE I'm right there with you. I'm 6'3, and I too had the seat lowered and tilted to allow for the lowest possible setting and my hair brushed against the cross member. I could probably live with it, but definitely less headroom than my C6.
What's kind of weird is that my height is all in my legs. My torso is probably similar in height to someone 6'1". I've seen numerous posts of guys way bigger than me in weight (I'm 185lbs) and height who say they fit great with no issues, plenty of headroom....and I just have a real hard time believing it.

It also depends on how thick your *** is.... not trying to be funny... its true... Im 6'4 and have a flat *** so im pretty sure im going to fit... Ive fit in every Gen viper theyve had ..so Im pretty optimistic that ill fit in the C8... Those with thicker asses ....believe it or not take up allot of head room ... its just the way it is.. Going to NCM next week end and hope to test fit in one .....to be sure....

Curious, which seats were in the car you sat in?
Something I notice people in automatics do is setup the leg room so that when pushing the pedals your legs are almost or are straight. Your seating position should have a good bend in your knees, around 120-135 degrees.
I rested my hand on my head to see how many fingers I could fit above before touching the roof and I could fit all four with a little wiggle room. Don’t have a tape measure, but I would guess that’s between 4-5 inches
I'll have to find another one to sit in. I will admit I was surprised. Maybe for whatever reason the seat wasn't adjusting as far as it could/should?
I'm 6'5" and about 225, fit with just about an inch to spare over the halo bar with the GT2 seats. I had to move the seat forward before I could get it all the way down and back. I fiddled with seat adjustments and sitting in a driving position for probably a good 10 minutes to make sure I was comfortable in different positions. I also didn't need to lean the seat all the way back -- I was able to have it in a few different positions and be comfortable. I might have to get creative when it comes time for a helmet though.
I've noticed that every car people are sitting in, has the top off. I watched people getting in and out while I was looking at it and every exit I watched, the persons head was in one way or another, coming through the opening. This tells me that everyone that got out of the car would not experience the same exit with the top on.
I understand the top is off to see inside, but I would like to have seen the real world experience of everyone exiting with the top on. I'm guessing there would be some bumps on the top of peoples heads. Sure there would be a learning curve to exiting properly, but I don't want to have to play twister to get out of a car.
