Placed order, however...
Just placed my preliminary order with my dealer. However, their build sheet program didn't even have the option of ordering the Carbon Flash Metallic Ground Effects kit or engine cover colors. Hopefully they will be able to amend my order when those things do become available. Sucks that I wasn't able to complete everything on my build just yet since I'm a tad OCD about these things.

I was aware of the constraint timeframes. What was weird is that some of the constraints (i.e. Rapid Blue) they were able to input into the order, while others (i.e. carbon flash ground effects), they weren't. Hoping this doesn't cause problems come September.

This is probably because they know when rapid blue will be available (starting with December orders). No word on when the "late availability" options will be available.

Highly likely this will still be a problem when ordering opens up September 12th, Sounds like you are getting Rapid Blue, so what does it matter come September? Your order can't be picked up until December.

No. The Appearance Package (CF covers, LED lights) is an "option" ... but red & silver engine covers are "accessories."

It doesn't matter to me, I'm not in a hurry. I do however expect that when a dealer calls me to come in and place my "order" that everything that I want will be available to place as an "order". Otherwise, why are you calling me? I don't want to come in again and revise the order. I want it complete the first time.
