Strategic realignment
The word retreat does not exist in a Marines vocabulary. So, when my accountant put a cap on my C8 purchase, it necessitated a Strategic Realignment. This is what I came up with. I'm a happy camper.
Not for nothing, but why is an accountant giving financial advice? Tax advice sure, but if my accountant told me what I could spend, I’d ignore him (or her). My financial guy? That’s another matter. (And it’s probably a bad idea to have one do both... unless you are married to them)
my guys told told me to spend whatever I want.. that is a good feeling..

Actually, he is a Corvette aficionado. It has been his financial guidance over the years that has allowed me to own more Corvettes than most only dream of owning without putting myself in the poor house.
Nice combo!
I have something similar on order ,
shadow grey, with natural interior 2LT and base wheels,Chrome badging(100$ to give an iconic car a legible script..)
67 000.
Wanted to save the 7000$ and get 1LT ....but I saw value in the extra 9 months of XM satellite radio with the 2lt package ....
Who was your accountant again?

The car comes very well equipped as is.
Agree ........ Other than the calipers, splash guards and, the NPP, I'd thought of waiting till a set of the wheels and the transparent roof showed up in the C8 parts for sale section. Then I thought meh, ordering them from the factory would come in just below my $65k cap, so why not.
I say congrats!. My car will be $63,295 1LT, white/adrenaline red, red calipers, NPP, bright trident wheels. You could load one to $100k, is that car REALLY $40k MORE of a car than I'm buying? Not to me. Any more expense than I'm doing just isn't worth it to me, and at the end of the day, that's the only person I'm concerned about making happy with this.
