It’s cool. Who cares if there is no muffler or trunk. You forgot the round taillights and flip up head lights

That spoiler is miles better than either offered at this time.

Don't know why they would render it with the exhaust different, there is no chance of that happening.

Spoiler and wheel design (sans finish) is an improvement.

The greyed out our tail lights do make the rear end remind me of the Camaro ZL1. Still like it regardless.

Let's see, yea, a few aftermarket items and don't forget the hash marks
AND there you have it; GM, does not need to build a GS.
But everyone wants to buy a GS!!!

Z06 will come out before the GS, which is likely to be 2022. GS in 2023. Loooooong time from now. Useless to speculate.

Needs a wide-body if it’s a GS.

Leave the center pipes on the C7 and let’s move on thanks!

This fan fic GS had no place in the C8 world. Slow news day. Would not buy this design.

The exhaust might look better if it was rectangular and black .... or just leave it on the sides and black. Pipes from the headers to the exhaust tips without a 20 lb muffler in the way could sound quite awesome. Soon to be determined once some after market systems are out. I kind of like the shorter proportions of the car, without the rear trunk. I bet it would be 200lbs lighter and quicker. Now where to put the roof panel???

I don’t think there will be a GS. I base this on the fender hash marks. They have been a trademark of the GS for years. But they are now available on the base car. Nothing special about them now. I feel that if a GS was coming the hash marks would not be available for other models.

Good Lord I hope not! Way to ruin a good thing. Cheesy! Toss me in the wood chipper if you want. That’s my opinion.

The GS was created because people wanted the base NA engine with enhanced aero and performance. But, at the time the base Corvette was boring and plain looking (compared to the Z06), inside and out, so a lot of people, including myself, wouldn’t even have considered getting it. Definitely not the same this time around with the C8. The base car looks exciting and offers incredible GS performance straight out of the box as well as a slew of personalization and performance options available to order.

Does this mean GM won’t make a Grand Sport? No. But there surely are not as many reasons to make one this time around with what we’re getting with the base model.

Nice job...But if there is a GS, there must already be a Z06 so where are the intercooler air inlets going to go...just sayin, in the C8 if it really does go TT in the Z, there are going to be some BIG air inlet ducts somewhere on the humps for the Big intercoolers. Here is my old 997 TT showing the passenger side intercooler and ducts/pipes. Also if you notice the 911 gets their engine air intake from the trunk area via snorkels...Not a bad design.
