Default Center caps

For those that have seen or will visit the real C8 soon, does it look like the center caps are the same size as the ones from the C7?
I have the OEM accessory black stingray center caps, and want to know if I could use them on my future C8. Photos of stock C7 silver, C8 silver, & C7 black stingray below.

How do you pop off center caps without scratching?

or take the wheel off and pop them out from the backside.

as for them fitting the C8....I bet they will....its one of those things that they can save money on by making them the same size such that the only part that is truly different is the cover of it.

Hmm, if they do fit my gray background GM optional Jakes - may fit my planed gray background wheels!

Didn't think I would have anything to save from my Grand Sport. In fact had a lot of aftermarket "stuff" I added to my 2014 removed before I sold it and used on my GS: afe low restrict air intake, "Catch Can," a few engine appearance items, Lloyds plush mats, Stingray sill plates, GM licensed Jake valve caps (expensive,) hatch storage device, wheel locks etc

Jake logo will be out of date for the C8.

This is the race logo that has been in exsistance since the C6 has not been changed yet, not like the C7 and C8 logo. DOUGHT if it will ever be.

Maybe on the race car it has not changed, but common usage on C6 and C7 is different:

C6 Jake:

C7 Jake:

The official Jake Hood Stinger from Chevy (shown above) has the C7 cross flag more up-swept design.

C8 wheels have smaller center cap bores, plus the stingray has been redesigned.

C8 center caps are the same size as the C7. Anyone know where to get a black set of C8 center caps but not at the GM selling price?

C7 caps have a different stingray design, different font, and they won't fit C8 wheels as the hole is smaller on the C8s.

You are CORRECT about the different stingray design and font design.
But you are INCORRECT about the different smaller holes.
Holes are the SAME.

Hmm, if that is for sure I'll leave my Jake Center caps on my 2017 Grand Sport! Have someone coming to look at buying it this Saturday. If there is a chance they are the same size I'll remove them and put on the OEMs!
