Default C8 Mania?

I love the looks of the new C8 and the engineering behind the mid engine design.

However I've owned two Corvettes. My last one was a C6. I hated it. The CAS was awful. The Corvette electronics were a joke given that the EMI from my Garmin GPS (FCC Rule 15) managed to shut down the Corvette. I've also heard that this EMI problem also happens to C7's. AND FINALLY..... Reverse gear sync problems. About 50% of the time I had to get out of the Corvette and manually push it forward, before I could shift into R. Geezzz..

Anyone who would even consider buying a C8 sight unseen is obviously not thinking through their decision. Being the first person on the block to own a C8 only shows that you either don't know anything about GM and new designs or have much more money than sense. I'll wait a couple of years and keep a close eye on the Corvette forums before I consider laying any amount of $$$$ down for a C8. Good luck... You'll need it...

PS: I took the C6 to a number of Chevy dealers concerning the problems I outlined. None of them had any idea as to the problems or how to fix them.

What's the point of a post like this?

You post this on thr C8 forum, to a bunch of grown men/women - what do you care what they do with their money? They are all going to sell regardless of what you say.... so... I just don't get the point...
