Put the muffler above the transaxle, just like every other mid engine car that wasn't designed to have a trunk back there. That would have allowed the car to be about 6-8" shorter.
I'm fine with it as it is. But it would have be pretty simple to make the car shorter if they didn't care about putting a trunk in the back.
Targa top has been a Corvette tradition for some time, where would the roof panel go? It won't fit in the frunk.
Good grief, if you are that hard for golf and have a hundred bucks a month or more for this "club" or that then have a locker somewhere and stop whining about where and how you will get your "bag" to a pubic course where you hump your clubs over your shoulder and get in line. I live in a country club community with high rises and private homes with ridiculous prices along with nonsensical golf club membership fees paid by fat miserable men attempting to validate themselves in a pointless pursuit of something that no one cares about. Golf is rapidly becoming a nowhere game for old men and the demise of golf communities" is testimonial to that fact. Do yourself a huge favor and spend your time in some other endeavor and if you golf and must transport your single set of clubs from one course to another then use your wife's minivan. YUK.
When you look at the trunk at least myself I think 2 sets of clubs? Hmmmmm. Well yesterday at a dealer a dude brought in his clubs to try it. They fit well.
