Now that the C8R is out, and we have some info about it along with some rumors and suggestions and hints about what that will mean for the upcoming C8Z, name the carryovers from the C8R you absolutely want to see on the C8Z....Go!

none. I want mine to be comfy and luxurious. I want plushy mag ride suspension and the ability to tone down the exhaust note.
We pretty much know what the Z06 will be like ... more or less following the same formulas - wider body and FPC V8 with twin turbo to about 700HP. Just wait for two more years. Nothing one can do right now.

Are you sure it won’t have a 5.5L 4 cam V8? besides, the point of this thread is for people to say what they would like on the Z06 in light of what we now know about the C8R

The problem IMHO, "Z06" and "ZR1" have lost their original meaning. I'm not saying that is right or wrong really, personally I'd like the Z06/ZR1 to remain stripped down racers, but it's been forever since that was the case.
My ideal car (which I don't think exists) would be one with huge power and comfortable ride around town and on the highway, then when it hits the track I can put it in "attack" mode and it is loud and over the top and handles with no compromise.
I feel that car doesn't exist.
That said, I've got cars that fit the latter description. But they suck on the road. One just went through a massive rebuild to get back to something livable on the street, and I've loved every minute of driving it since then. So I'm fine with a Z version that is a combination of outrageous power and handling but with a big dose of sophistication in terms of ride and experience.
Stripped down, Lightweight, Manual, Radio Delete, AC Delete, Carpet Delete, Rollbar, 5pt Harness, Lighter Glass, 2.5 seconds to 60MPH, Qtr Mile in High 9s, and Carbon Fibre Wheels and Fugly Big *** Wing (aka ZR1).
