Default Possible Cadillac affecting C8?

With most of the early reviews describing the C8 as a bit sterile, quiet, comfortable, and more of a GT feel it got me thinking.

This is probably a stretch, but with the rumor that Cadillac may offer a model based off this mid engine platform, do think it’s possible these driving dynamics and the overall GT personality are a byproduct of GM engineering this platform for both Corvette and Cadillac?

Crazy thought and I realize this is a stupid thread lol. Just throwing it out there as I’m a bit surprised by the reported driving dynamics and overall personality of the car.

I have no doubt that a Cadillac variant could be in the works.

I can only imagine what a new XLR would be like. Following their new naming conventions they could go all cheesy and call it the XLR8.

Isn't the base corvette always basically a GT car??? That's why they make the other track focused models like z06/zr1 that have cup2s, stiffer everything, more power, wider fenders, massive brakes, massive cooling, full aero, etc etc.
And that's by no means a complaint... it's an affordable, attainable, reliable, daily-driveable, 'super'car.
