Default Steering weight vs. C7?

Have any reviewers given their first hand account of steering weight on the C8? If so, how does it compare with the c7? I love very heavy steering and hate how manufacturers keep lightening up the weight with each successive generation of their cars.

There have been a lot of comments that touring mode is very light in the C8. Like driving a Malibu light.

Can't speak for sport/track.

Heaviness is not always good thing
I love the heaviness that makes you feel what’s going on

If you get the Z51 there is a Z mode that should allow you to dial in the steering weight, exhaust loudness, and suspension stiffness. Like I said touring mode is light but I was never a fan of that in the C7 and suspect I would hate it in the C8. I like my sportscar to feel like sportscar.

I know I am old fashioned but I just can’t feel comfortable driving a car at very high speeds (100+) where the the steering doesn’t feel like lead. Call it my safety blanket.

On the C7 you can set the steering weight to any mode you want. I set my steering to track mode (the heaviest). I expect the same can be done with the C8.
