Is there a pic anywhere of what the engine looks like when that roasting pan lid is removed from the engine! Is the carbon fiber beauty package available on the convertible?
Of course not, nons of the engine appearance items are available on the Convertible. You do realize you can't see the engine, right?
yea but I can see it with the bonnet up. I prefer not to look at something ugly. I don’t care about anyone else walking by. Just wondering if there will be any type of beauty covers at all. I didn’t put these on my C7 for anyone but myself. I really don’t care for ugly looking engines on sports cars.

Knock it off now, that thousand dollar carbon fiber appearance package and $400 painted engine cover is under there somewhere! Don't crush his dreams, if you look really hard you can see it!
You'd think there would be a market for replacing that tray with something clear, along with the body piece above. So at least when the top is up one can see the engine.
It's not COMPLETELY crazy.
You'll need a whole new tonneu lid, or at least some heavy modifications to the existing one.
A new clear cover that shows the engine but still blocks enough heat that it doesn't ruin the interior roof trim.
Whatever beauty covers are needed to make the engine actually look good now that it's on display.
How many thousands of dollars are you spending just so you can get a distorted look at your engine through two layers of lexan?
I’m seeing about 16 Philips head screws holding that cover on, and probably a couple more I’m not seeing. I bet a few Convertible owners will be taking that cover off and leaving it off, leading to something melting or warping.

One unanswered question: Is there some type of insulation attached to the underneath of that cover? That would complicate things.
So you feel it’s necessary to make a thread asking if a “beauty cover” for the engine will be available on an engine that is covered by the hard top tonneau and then a heat shield that requires many screws to remove?
Why not demand a “beauty cover” for the DCT under the car while you’re at it?

Almost certainly there will be heat insulation. I am hoping someone will release aa quick release system to get all those fasteners of quickly to fiddle with the engine. Someone will probably be selling those covers with huge painted Corvette logos on them like the under hood pads sold for previous generations.
