Already trying to keep this car from being played out as every 3rd vette will be red already they didn't want every other one to be. Happens every time a gen changes. All red first year... so cliche
Most of the car mags feature a red one on their cover....best looking color!!!
I went back and forth between the red and silver.
The red just kept looking better.
Ive had a lot of silver cars. Love them. But the c8 looks like it was made to be red. I put as much black with it as possible to break it up, because red can be over powering.
This will be my 3 rd red corvette

I am going to stick with red no matter how long it takes.

I ordered black, but red is the best color on the C8.
I really can't imagine red taking too long to come off restraint. It's only paint, and the most popular color.
It's not a supply issue... it's balancing production batches. They're not going to paint 100 red ones, then 1 of each other color. Too much time changing the paint line over. They constrain the color to force people to pick other colors. Some folks are truly ambivalent about color and will be something else. Helps them balance production.
Paint constraints, especially for a ubiquitous color like Torch Red, must have something to do with peripheral parts. Like not enough red seats or black dashes. Geez, they must buy Torch Red paint by the train car load. And have for nye on 60 years.

No... I posted above... it's the batch process by which they paint the cars. They're not going to just paint all torch red cars all day long.

As you should. Waiting a few extra weeks to get the color you want vs settling for another color that have to look at it for many years is the better long play.
Any word on the Torch Red constraint? Has anyone heard any news on when the next consensus is coming ?
Refer to post #2. Some constrained colors are listed as “Greater than 4 weeks”, and others are listed as “Less than 4 weeks”. Fortunately, Torch Red is one of the “Less than 4 Weeks” colors. And what’s less than four? Three! Therefore TR should be available for order in three weeks or sooner.
