Anyone else debating whether to get the red seat belts or default black with the solid red gt1 seats? I'm just worried about too much red even though im probably going with the shadow gray exterior.
I was worried about this look also but saw pics of some of the press cars optioned this way and it looks fine so I went with it. If you're ever going to do this a mid-engine Vette is the right car for it lol.
This my build. I wanted red seat belts. But with a solid red seat, you will not see the belt. It will get lost in the red seat. As you can see it will work fine with black centers.
Ordered my C8 with A Red Two-Tone Seats (Black Seating) with standard black seat belts. Will look for aftermarket C8 seat belt covers (padded vs unpadded?) which should be soon available for under $50 to customize the look. Similar to below.

Agree 100%, also the red seat belts might not match exactly with the red GT1 seats.
We were GOING to do red seatbelts with two tone Red and Black seats UNTIL seeing them in person. The seatbelts had a distinct orange color tone to them. Not the same as the seats.
I went ahead and added to my build with Gt1 red seats and red stitched black interior. With a person actually sitting in the seat using the belt I thought it looks cool.

The only c8 I've seen in person was orange. God I hope the redish orange seat belts were that color because they were pre production.
