Can you get the molded ground effects kit in Black not in molded body color? Also does it come with the winglets? The winglets on the splitter and The Rocker in Black not in body color. So the real question is does it come with the winglets and can it be in Black not in body color? And is the price the $695?

Reason: Misspelled
none of them are "body color" only molded "textured" black, Carbon Flash painted Carbon Fiber or Exposed Carbon fiber. what is pictured is not 5V7 and I am almost certain 5V7 is the one that is for non-Z51 builds and requires the High Wing
What you are looking at in that picture is either the $4000 painted carbon fiber kit or the $5000 unpainted kit. The molded pieces you are referring to look nothing like that, I suggest you play around on the configurator to understand the differences between the two options.

okay thanks I agree that the 5V7 is for the non z51 builds and it requires the high Wing spoiler. But as you stated in the textured black do you get the winglets?

As I said before, you really need to play around in the visualizer to understand the differences. It is clear as day, you can switch between the options and see exactly what each one looks like. The winglets you are referring to are part of the expensive aero package and do NOT come on the cheaper version.

can you get what is in picture in molded black with winglets?

yes I've played with it, but can't figure out if I can get this in black not in carbon flash or carbon paint. Won't be having any carbon at all so it wouldn't go with look.
no, winglets are only on 5VM and 5WB as far as I know. have not seen a ground effects option molded in black that includes the winglets on the splitter or rocker extensions.
5V7 - for NON Z51 builds, gives you the Z51 splitter and black rocker extensions but NO wingets. also requires High Wing so is a $1,845 option
5VM & 5WB are carbon fiber either painted or not and include the winglets, if ordered with a NON Z51 car, again requires High Wing so add $1,150 to the $3,850 (painted) and $4,850 (unpainted)
STI, SJI and S6S are all just pieces that cover the standard body color rocker extension at the bottom edge of the car, no winglets come with any of them and can be added to Z51 or NON Z51 as all they do is cover the body extension that is already there
I find it annoying that you can't get the "standard" Z51 splitter in anything but molded black, but the rocker extensions come in painted carbon fiber. Really wanted the look of all the accents on my car to be carbon flash, splitter, rocker, emblems, side scoop, spoiler, top, etc.

ok that's what I needed to know 👌
hope that changes before my allocation comes

Correct! As of right now that is the only option available, the painted version is a late availability item.
I would not hold my breath on any changes or additions to the current offerings, the carbon fiber set is made completely differently than the molded version and it is not as simple as clicking a button to add winglets. You will likely have to go aftermarket to find something molded with winglets.
^^
Yep, I ordered visible carbon fiber as in our area, lots of pebbles and need the rocker panel protection!
I installed full length aftermarket CF side skits on my 2014 Z51 and it stopped the marking of the rocker panels. I was able to remove the GM "plastic protection." Ordered the Stage 2 Aero option for my 2017 GS to get the full length side skirts. Those are also carbon fiber BUT painted carbon flash.
NOT sure if the carbon flash painted carbon fiber ground effects is not yet available is because of what the issue was with the visible versus painted C7 Carbon Fiber roofs! I'll explain:
My September 2013 built 2014 was purchased with a visible CF roof. It was constrained and was told because it was a QA issue getting the pattern perfect. It was published that although the normal painted CF C7 roof is made differently, it's made by the same manufacturer as the painted roof but using hand layup. It was said if the hand layup did not meet visual QA it could be painted and sold as a painted roof to GM. I'm sure they only got the painted roof price!
It's possible it is similar with the visible carbon fiber and the carbon flash painted carbon fiber ground effect options. They are both very expensive and like the C7 Stage 2 Option, $1000 difference (i.e. for the C8, $4850 vs $3850.) They are not the cheaper molded plastic ~$600 items. Maybe they have to get enough "visibly defective" parts to have enough to offer the painted option?
