Does anyone know if the C8 will be on display at the upcoming Phoenix Auto Show Thanksgiving weekend? Chevy sent me 2 free tickets and usually go almost every year with my stepson. Just wondering if the C8 will be there or not.
Today was the auto show at Mohegan sun in ct and not one Corvette! Every other make was there and i mean every thing. Sat in the Chevrolet that were there you had to spend $75,000.00 dollars to sit in a soft leather supporting seat what a shame Ford and Lincoln are out building them . I guess they do not want my money?
For those of you in AZ, I just saw an ad in local TV for the Phoenix Auto Show and they stated that the 2020 C8 will be there. I will be there on Sunday.

The C8 tour stopped in Newport RI just last month. Newport is just 77 miles from Glastonbury. It’s simply not feasible to make a stop everywhere in the USA.

Thank you! That certainly modifies my Thanksgiving weekend plans!
The PHX auto show is pretty elementary. The mfgrs don't always bring out all their offerings, but usually if they do the display models are approachable. Only ones I see (every year) that are roped off are the expensive iron - Bentley, RR, Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc. Those cars are usually roped off in the lobby.
Chevy ALWAYS has sales personnel there, so I'll ask if the car is roped off, but since these cars toured all over the country and most locs allowed access, I'm betting better than a 50% chance it'll be accessible. I'm 6' 5" so it's hard to miss I would have a concern about fit.
My guess is there will be a splashy full court press display of C8s at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in January. Past mfg displays have always been up close and personal. Regardless, it is one heck of a car show so hard to draw a short straw if you go.
AFAIK at the LA show it was on a turntable behind glass, no asstime.
You're correct.
I saw a preview of the PHX show on the local news this morning and it showed the C8 blocked off from access on a platform. Oh well, maybe BJ in January.
Yep I was there and saw it. Looks great in person. I'm warming up to it. Looks way more like an "exotic" than the C7 but I suspect that's just because we are so used to it.
I think it looks great with that spoiler. Not sure if the one they had was a Z51 car or not as they did not have a proper Maroney there. No seat time. I think the *** end looks great now. Camero lights or not. I still can't get my head around the very large side pieces that cover the door handle.
They also had a dark white almost gray NSX there with black accents and that is also one beautiful performance car. Too bad it's so expensive. If you could get a highly optioned version for close to 100k I think they would really sell.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
