Is anyone actually ordering the stripes or even the hash marks? Neither the center stripes nor the hash marks really look very appealing to me. Am I the only one that thinks the factory stripe options look bad?
None of the graphics seem to fit the car to me. It doesn't need them.
I am waitin on the Z but in playing in the configurator I had no interest in the stripes but then I slapped the midnight's on my build and I do like them...so I at least will consider them downrange. No fender hashes, that doesn't look good to my eyes.
If I get a C8 I will order the hash stripes. I like them because they come in 2 colors and tie in with the scoops and body. Just my 2 cents! Red, White or Blue!
We ordered our 3LT Blade Silver with black stripes but, at the last minute, we took off the stripes. I liked them but, they just looked too "70's" and we wanted more classy and stylish.

I‘m not a fan of stripes, I agree with you on a cleaner, more classy spec without them. But I actually do like the stripes a bit on your initial spec, looks good with the black roof and silver color. I’m just not a fan of vinyl decals on a car, I think it’s cheesy. If they were painted that would be better (and yes I know more expensive).
This car is way too "Hot Wheels" for clean or classy, so might as well tart it up.
They might actually work with some color combinations...if they were parallel for the whole length. The pinched stripe effect in the front and rear pretty much kills them for me, though. Who thought that would be a good idea?

Another subjective discussion.
FOR ME - don't like the stripes or hash marks. Neither have a place on the car. Worked on prior generations, but not this car.
That being said, I do like some of the cars posted in the thread; just would prefer my car without stripes. Maybe because I'm getting the body color accent option if I go with a color other than black.

Stripes not bad looking depending on color of car. They tend to take away some of the class look however. Hash marks, a big NO. Has no place on that car. Yes on c5, 6, 7 if your into them.
Loved them on my challenger. Got lots of great remarks about them.

Stripes are too way easy and cheap to put on aftermarket and as a removable wrap ANND you get the bonus of a much better resale value if you ever decide to sell the car because stripes are a niche thing ....Save your money you can put them on later and if you don't like it or get bored of it remove it
