Default 2021 C8 wishlist

What would you like to see GM add/change for the 2021 model year on the C8? Based on what I’ve read in some of the threads, these seem to be high on the list:
  • Z51 spoiler delete
  • Mag Ride available without requiring Z51
  • Front adjustable coilovers when Front Lift package is ordered with Z51
  • Transparent roof panel with body colored side areas
  • Better looking wheels options
  • 3LT seat trim like on Tension Blue available for other colors (Adrenaline Red, Sky Cool Gray, Natural, etc)
  • Drilled/slotted rotors on Z51
  • Orange and blue colored calipers available as options
  • Black rear vents when body colored accents ordered
More recent additions from forum members ...
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Intellibeam headlights
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • Being able to choose al season tires instead of summer only for Z51 package
  • More traditional yellow and gray exterior colors

Not buying a 2021, but it would be nice to see Nuclear Vomit Yellow, sorry Accelerate Yellow replaced by something that is more...yellow. It would also be nice to be able to get Tension Blue with Black instead of Twilight Blue. And more engine cover colors and brake caliper colors. Other than that you pretty much summed it up.

My assessment of the likelihood on those items:
  • Z51 spoiler delete - doubtful
  • Mag Ride available without requiring Z51 - probably
  • Front adjustable coilovers when Front Lift package is ordered with Z51 - doubtful
  • Transparent roof panel with body colored side areas - highly unlikely - never did it during the C7 run
  • Better looking wheels options - different wheel options - yes. Better looking - who knows?
  • 3LT seat trim like on Tension Blue available for other colors (Adrenaline Red, Sky Cool Gray, Natural, etc) - unlikely
  • Drilled/slotted rotors on Z51 - unlikely
  • Orange and blue colored calipers available as options - unlikely
  • Black rear vents when body colored accents ordered - possibly

There isn't a point. Most of the people claiming to skip out on the first year are paranoid and used to production, QC and reliability of the 80's. This is 2019, almost 2020. No point in missing out on a C8 for at least a year because you have a phobia. The price will likely increase too.

There might be other changes/broadened option availability, I was just giving my opinion on how likely those specific changes are.

Definitely not a phobia. I was the first one in Texas I know of to get a 2016 Camaro SS. That was the first year of the 6th gen Camaro. Half way home the gas gauge dropped to E. I panicked thinking I wasnt watching but I knew it had just been on half a tank. I took it back the next day and they found the piece in the gas tank that checks the level had been bent upon installation. Then my touchscreen randomly would click all over the screen. Had to wait for a software update to fix it. Then the exhaust valves started to rattle. Had to get two replacements and then some sort of glue in there before it was permanently fixed. Then the torque converter started to shudder. That was only a couple years ago dude. The car has been fine the past few years but that first year sucked. I will definitely wait a year for the Corvette due to this. My car wasn't a lemon either. Plenty of Camaros had these issues. Even the Corvette had the torque converter issue
Edit: I forgot the differential started groaning when I turned when it was cold out. Had to get the fluid changed to fix it. That was also a common issue

Wanted to add to the list ...

Hoping for a more traditional yellow like on the C8.R and maybe a different gray like Watkins Glen Gray or Cyber Gray.

How about choice of all season or summer only tires on Base and Z51...

I guess you forgot about the C7 overheating problems with the A8 transmission 2014-2016. Historically first year Corvette’s have had some kind of problem that takes a year or two to get straightened out.

2014 had the A6 not the A8. 2014 had very few problems.

Not buying any C8 if there's no manual option.
