C8 production

Does anyone have an idea as to how many C8's will come off the line per shift each day?

Is there any talk of a third shift?

Two shifts will generate about 40,000 annual units and I don’t see Corvette exceeding that production level.

at speed about 80-90 per shift or 160-180 per day.

11.6 per hour is the optimal production rate for the C8. That's 92.8 per 8 hour shifts. Two shifts per day is 185.6. With 2 hours of overtime per day per shift, that could go to 232 per day.

Yep, in Jay Leno video, Tadge told Jay a new C8 is produced @ a rate of one every 5 minutes...........
