Our C7 Museum Delivery was a clown car of mistakes by the Museum staff. One after another. None very funny all very expensive. This delivery is a 'maybe' at best.

Papillion must have had a really bad experience, as he always responds to these questions. I feel bad for him. For everyone else I have talked with, it is has been a positive experience. Below is a summary of my museum delivery copied from a previous thread....
One-on-one tour of the factory and assembly line
One-on-one tour of the Museum including access to many behind the scenes operations. On the day we were there, we were allowed in the garage area where they were finishing up restoration on a beautiful 1967. They let my girlfriend start it up again for the 'first time' since restoration. We were able to talk with several technicians, mechanics, and other Museum personnel, that the normal visitor would not experience.
Access to a "Museum Delivery Only" part of the Gift Shop where you can order special items not available to the general public
Your car on display behind velvet ropes in the Museum, and on webcam. I had several friends watch the delivery live.
By the time you drive home, the break-in period has been completed
For the day, you wear a special badge that identifies you as Museum Delivery participant. And everyone that sees you goes out of their way to talk with you and thank you for supporting Corvette. Are a lot of these things cheesy? Sure, no doubt. But it is a way to immerse yourself in 8 hours of pretty fun Corvette-ness vs. an hour or so at the local Dealership picking up your car. If you haven't tried it, I would highly recommend it. Not to mention it's another way to support the Museum.
Museum Delivery was a nightmare with our C7. Very early in the model run, the museum guy doing the delivery had no clue. He said 'dunno' more than he answered questions. His chronic mantra, you should read the book when you get home. Huh? He had plumber's butt on the live stream which got a chuckle from our friends who tuned in. Not sure if our 10 year old granddaughter saw the humor though? The guy didn't know how the top worked 'exactly' when he demo'd it with the FOB. And didn't allow it to completely close. Which drained the battery without us knowing. When we got ready to leave, our dream car wouldn't start. All the techs were gone. It would be the next day before someone could jump it. As much as we said we don't want to buy any souvenirs, we just wanted to escape the asylum at that point. He dumped us in the gift shop and said he be back in 15-20 minutes. To take a leak and a smoke I'd assume. It was a colossal clown car of missteps. Though none very funny.

Thank You guys for your detailed experience.(With the exception of MoooFooo...Sorry brother!) I wrestled with this with my last 2 Z's and I think Im going to pull the trigger with this one. Sound like one hell of an experience and Im not getting any younger. Would make a nice trip with my wife not to mention motor break in trip ride home. The hardest point now is the waiting game for the new Z06...I HATE this part!
***Do you really get to watch your car on a web cam displayed in the museum? That would be interesting to see how the spectators react to your new baby!***

Yes, you really do get to watch your car on a web cam. Each delivery spot on Corvette Blvd has it's own web cam. NCM Webcams. Obviously, no deliveries are occurring now.
I picked up my 2014 back in February of 2014. The morning we were flying into Nashville, I heard the news that a sinkhole had occurred at the NCM. I immediately got on the computer to look at my web cam. I was relieved to see my car sitting there undamaged. As we learned during our visit, the sinkhole had happened in the sky dome and the rest of the museum was not impacted.
