Default C8 allocation on Ebay.....risky

E Bay currently has an allocation up for bid. Rick Conte says dealers are prohibited from doing this. Any thoughts

It doesn't sound like a dealer. Seems like it's a private person with an order in.
Why can't they do it?

Currently sitting at 6500 bucks. I don't see any major red flags. I don't think I'd pay 83k dollars for a C8 Corvette though.

Here is the description....................

You Are bidding on the opportunity to take over the order and allocation of a 2020 C8 Chevy Corvette.
This is and early allocation from a premier Chevy dealer in bucks County PA. Expected delivery date of May/June 2020.

THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE ORDER ALLOCATION and will be the Price over the MSRP of the Vehicle

Purchase price to be paid at the Dealership at delivery $82,307.05 including PA tax and tags.

Order Details/ options

Black Exterior (GBA)
Adrenaline Red Leather seats (HUL)
Magnetic Ride Control (FE4)
Z51 Performance package (Z51)
Perfromace Exhaust System (NPP)

I live in Bucks Cty PA and there are no "premier" Chevy dealers around here. If there were, I would have ordered from them. This seems very risky and unnecessary if one wants a C8.

It does Violate Ebay's listing policy, which requires a VIN. Since it has not been built there is no VIN and any VIN that is posted is likely fake at this stage.

If any of you are eBay members, report this listing. It does not have a valid VIN.
