It is a scam. They will only ask you for a small deposit. A few thousand. Then that money will vaporize. And you will never see it again.
Suckers born every day.
COULD be legit. But when the original buyer backs out of the deal, the dealer owns the car, and can do whatever he wants with it. The dealer is under no legal obligation to sell "you" the car, even if you paid this guy $50,000 dollars.
I guess he believes there are plenty of suckers out there that don't know you can still purchase a C8 at MSRP.
Here was his reply:
You need to read the entire auction. $16,500 is for my spot at the dealership then you pay dealer MSRP of $78,870 plus taxes and fees. These cars are selling for way over sticker price
