So how much off MSRP do yall think a used 2020 will be? I may go that route as some trade in for the Z06 as long as I can get pretty much what I want in the car..

Don't you think that would depend on how old the C8 is and what condition it is in, miles, etc ?

Those who are paying MSRP are paying 5-10% over what they should to be first and the day they take delivery they loose 4-5 K.....every year after that it's 4-5k as per year. So a 2 year old car will/should be 10k + the 5-10% that the original owner paid. This is all my opinion anyway, I'm sure there will be people who agree and disagree on this thought process Example : someone paid $80,000.... after 2 years that is 10K + 8K, so $18,000. Car would be 80,000- 18,000 after 2-3 years.
this question is impossible to answer since there are so many variables. And even you state “if you can get exactly what I want”... that makes the price of other cars irrelevant. All that will matter at that point is what you are willing to pay.
12 months after release and these things will be extremely common and the prices will reflect that. I’d be throwing up as a first buyer paying 80k for a base model. Could be a 30k loss after only 12-16 months. Yikes.

Like you are some authority. The only thing confirmed is you hate the C8.
Idk if you sale right away I definitely see the price being hire. When I put my order in on Dec 19th. The guy beside me asked what I was there for I told him the c8. He said me to but he wont get it tell 2021. He has sold his red c7 and offers to pay me 125k for my 105k car. I was shocked but still said no as you cant get a new mid engine car for this price. His reason is he and his friends all drive corvette and didnt want to go a hole season without one. We exchanged numbers and still continues to txt me. I am in Canada Ontario

I would be making that deal without a question. 20k profit for a extra little wait.
What tax? Guy pays 105k and slips the guy 20k in cash.
My understanding is GM was only allowing the car to be sold to the person on the order sheet. I think they are trying to avoid this kind of thing happening.
I'm not sure how the deal would work financial as I haven't even given it much though. I put my deposit down back in January 5th 2019 that being said I have already been waiting for this car for over a year now. Alot of dreams I already had lol another year I couldn't wait that long.
Some interesting responses, lol. I would think 2nd year productions out and the Z06 out would make the 2020 C8 used cars depreciate like any other car and should be under MSRP. A 2020 C8 traded into the dealership selling the Z06 (only way I would buy one, not personnel resale or non GM dealer) would be in very good condition and low mileage as those buying now and then trading in for the Z06 will not be treated badly.
