Default C8 experience

I live in Amsterdam and I am interested in the C8. Because i am tall 6feet and 3.2 inches, 213 pounds, i would like to experience the seating position of the car before ordering. Driving experience would be even greater. Traveling to Miami Florida is not so expensive. Does anybody know where i could see the car and sit inside in the area of Miami?
Thank you all for the help.

I understand the wisdom of your sitting in the C8 for yourself. If for whatever reason you can not do that, based on many posts from larger than you folks fitting into a C8, with many commenting that they could not sit in a C7 but can in a C8, this will be a useful thread for you.

Don't think there are any more showings in the Miami. area. I will be seeing one Tuesday in PA, I am Dutch as well but only 6, 1. Here is the list of the dealer showings: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-by-state.html . You will be able to see it at the Autoshows as well, like DC but they won't let people sit in it. If you wait till later. like late spring/ early summer you can try out mine, however it will be the HTC, just bring me some "drop" and buy me a bier.

It’s not free but it’s a chance to drive a C8 at Miami Homestead Speedway in May. Their customer service is good too so I’d recommend reaching out to them to make sure the C8 will be there:

Just got back from Whitmoyer Chevrolet, Mount Joy, PA. They were very welcoming and had a great crowd. I am 6' 1", with a 32" inseam and just cleared the headliner. More than enough leg room, so everything depends on your body build. If your inseam is 34 or more you should be fine, if your inseam is 32 or 33" as well you might have an issue. Car looks great in person, it was the orange one, could go for it, but my wife thought it is too flashy. The car looks big and probably will just fit in my 3rd single door garage space.

At 6'1 with a 32" inseam, that means your torso is 41 inches. I'm not sure how you fit in with the C8's <40 inches of headroom.

Have to account for the butt area as well, I did fit but not much room left. At 185lbs no problem getting in/out, unlike some others, who had to pull their left leg in.

Interesting post given people much larger have previously said they fit fine. Some very tall and/or very wide.

I think it also matters how you adjust the seat...recline, etc. I am 6-3, 235 and 33 inseam. I fit fine.

Might be some time before the C8 is in showrooms and not spoken for (and dealers willing to let people sit in them). I’m 6’4” and 260 lbs and I fit comfortably in a C7. Everything I’ve read are the big guys saying the C8 had even more room. The link below has a walk around by a 6’5” 300lb chap who said he was comfortable...though it looked snug, but should give you a reference.

6' 3" is the cutoff. 6' 3.2" is a no go, sorry.

Haha
Cut him some slack, he simply converted his height from centimetres and that's what he came up with in inches.
