Default Interior config question

Just want to validate this configuration as it doesn't make logical sense to me. When I select a 1LT and Sky Cool gray leather seating surface I get this which is what I want (pic1)

Pic1

Pic2

When I select a 2LT with Sky Cool gray it changes to this (pic2)

I want a little contrast but not the center console and sides. Is the only way to get only the seats the sky cool color is to select the lower trim pkg?

Try selecting grey colored stitching. If it available.
I switched to red stitching in my car and the console reverted back to black.
I don’t know if this will work with 1 lt. But it changed with 3 lt.

I'm curious why the steering wheel does not get a change with this color since it does with the natural for example. I don't dislike this color, I'm just worried that it will get so dirty so fast since the cars on display had these seats and they were so bad looking.

If you do not want colour on the console or the door panels you will need to option 1LT or one of the custom interior options on the 3LT for the sky gray interior.

Hey this is off subject a bit but my order is in for a 3LT 'vert' and I've sat in a couple coupes but FORGOT to pay attention..... Do the C8's have a 'glove compartment'???

I know there's some storage in the console compartment but I was wondering if there was the traditional glove box or are we going back to the C4 days.....

PS: Back on subject. That real light grey will get dirty BUT not nearly like the cars going around to the shows at the dealers. When I saw the one in North Texas I was told that well over 10.000 'butts' had slid in and out of the car since it was featured at the reveal on the West Coast. That's likely over 10 years of wear and tear!

There is no grey stitching option. Only Red and Yellow. Sky Cool Grey comes with grey stitching.

R6X will give you the option of gray seats and all black interior but only available with 3LT (HVV).

I'm not sure if D30 override will allow R6X to be applied to 2LT.

No, D30 is only to override non-recommended exterior/interior color combinations (like red interior on yellow exterior).

The sky cool gray interior options don't get the band on the steering wheel in any trim level. The best guess is that GM decided it would show too much dirt, but that's only a guess.
