But from what I have read. GM went back to it’s original plan, of making as much money fast as they can.
Witch any smart company’s CFO,s would do. Make the most profitable cars first.
Bad news is 1lt models are not part of that plan.
I wouldn’t underestimate the production managers role in a companies profitability ...
He is probably the CFO’s right hand man.
If the production manger says we are building a certain type of builds on a certain week because of parts available,or maximizing productivity...I usually stands.
Besides,they would never jeopardize Corvettes most important attribute for its existence ...Pricepoint(60 000$).
It looks like they will be producing a few 1LT cars sometime in March.

My guess is mid March to early April 1LT will start rolling off the line. That’s fine any kinks will be known by then... their QC hold should be gone by then.
