I got a call from them last nite about how I wanted the plaque signed . Asked if he had any info , I just posted this week car was at 3100. 3/2 was TPW. Apparently car has moved to 3400 with car scheduled to b built 3/4 . Takes a day I guess. He said they prob will hold prob two weeks or so. Possibly looking at delivery late mar or early April. That’s what the gentleman told me. I’m sure there are some on here that will find this skeptical. Me too. I just thought it was interesting

They do hold for 2 weeks. It is a quality assurance hold I believe. They held my C7ZR1 for that amount of time. Whatever Shane or staff tell you about R8C delivery is good info. If something falls through on schedule it will be from the plant. That, they cannot help. They go by what they are told from plant.

Congrats! After the initial quality hold ends, the typical hold is approximately two weeks.

My car was built yesterday and I received notice today that I'm at 3800. Like you, I'm now waiting for a call from the Museum. Hmmm, maybe we'll take delivery on the same day. My guess is the car will clear QA in two weeks, so I may be slotting in for delivery during the week of 3/2.
