Like they say in the automobile industry "There is an *** for every seat" LOL
Only drop a deuce Zeus and Highlighter will have worse resale. As the old saying goes, "there is no accounting for taste, but that doesn't mean yours is good" if you like this..it isn't!

Not worrying about resale going to trade it when the Z06 is available and probably go back to torch red like my C7 , just wanted a change for 1 year.

Bruh! you are gonna learn what horrific resale means when you attempt to dump the '7 post Z06 C8 intro. Ouch! Best to ya. Hope that IRA/401K is 7 figures!

And even though it seems quite a few people like LBR (or other similar iterations), I wouldn't own one. If you read sales statistics about used yellow cars, they sell fast. Because there are fewer of them, and when someone who wants one finds it they snap it up. My real world experience would seem to confirm this on a MY C5 vert, and I got full asking price; maybe I was just lucky. I like the bright colors (except Rapid Blue) on C8 better than the understated (some would choose elegant and others would choose boring) ones. There pretty much is an a$$ for every seat.

Sure many people feel the same way about god awful black. But they sell and that is all that matters.

53 here. I love LBR w/blk wheels & blk interior. Once you add the natural interior you trend toward geezerville. Add Chrome wheels and you might as well add handles to the sides and it can double as your coffin. Bet it's a real panty dropper at the nursing home.
When I pick a color for a new car, I NEVER EVERconsider its resale "value."
I have no idea why anyone sane would do so.
The color I pick is the color I like...not what some potential buyer down the line might like.
Jesus, if I was concerned about what OTHERS might want, I wouldn't buy a new car in the first GD place.
You have a point.
What color works well for me depends on the CAR in question.
For example, I think LBR looks great on my C7Z.
But I wouldn't pick it if ordering a C8 Stingray.

To each his own....color is a personal thing. Kinda like taste in women.
A bad color is a bad color...doesn't matter what car...including the Corvette. Perfect Example...Sea Mist Green. 1982. I loved the body style on the 82...but man...that color ruined it. My first Corvette...1982... was Dark Claret...and very similar to the new LBR...and this will be most likely...the last one I ever buy. So I'm going to book-end my Corvette purchases with similar colors.
Long Beach Red is NOT a bad color. I did see 5 C8's on the road recently (GM test vehicle parade with some C7's in it as well) here in AZ and out of all of the colors I saw...LBR was by far the prettiest of them all....and was drawing the most looks.
Every one I know with a vette that color is over 55. I totally think of it as old guy color, but I still think it looks good. Very deep looks great under sunlight. The LBR with the Morello red looks great even if it isn't for me.
My least favorite color. To me, it's like cranberry sauce. Just a dull color, and no matter what color interior you put in it, it doesn't improve the looks. For those who like it, GREAT! For me, no thanks.
That Blade Silver/Black combo is that Jake is pushing Outstanding! Beautiful. Its just not red. I had LBR some years ago. It was a bit too dark for me. Going Torch Red this time.

LOL! You are a BAD man! You just described my new car. AWFUL

Love the Long Beach Red Color! Since 2017 we have had 100's of great compliments that they love the Grand Sport, the color and wheels. The Bluebonnets are beautiful in Texas this year. This photo is from a trip through the country side this weekend.
