So the Stripes are not painted on? I see in the picture of the back of the C8 with the black stripe that it also has a black 'Corvette' emblem. GM would not accept my order for an Edge Red rear emblem on a Blade Silver Metallic car with Dark Gray stripes. Can I change that with an Override?

There is the D30 Color Combination Override, but I believe it is only for overriding exterior, interior and seat belt color combinations, not for exterior decor. In fact, it is listed in the Interior portion the the GM Ordering Guide. I guess you could try it and see what happens.

Will try that, thanks for the reply. I really like the Edge Red emblem on the car. I can get the GM part aftermarket, but would like to have it when I pick up the car at the Museum!
I received the first pictures of my car from the dealer and the stripes have black carbon accent edges on it. The make the stripe much more pronounced than without the edging. I still like them, just a little different than I was expecting.
