I received this message from Concierge. Now I'm getting very excited. Any idea how long quality control is and how long to ship to California?
Hello Brian,
Thank you for reaching back out! Your order (XMXXXX) is currently at the status of 3800-Produced. The next step will be your vehicle going through the routine checks to assure a world-class vehicle is sent out.
I just got this email about BV4 option asking what I wanted on the plaque but I haven't done my final build yet and my dealer told me last Tuesday that my order status is " accepted for production" Why are they already asking about the plaque ?? Greetings,
When you ordered your new 2020 Corvette, you selected the BV4 option (personalized name plaque). I need to confirm what name you would like to have engraved.
Sample plaque attached. You can have up to 24 characters (including spaces). Do you want your name in ALL CAPS or just the first letter of each name? These are the things to consider.
@myvette1991 Sounds like your dealer submitted your order as is. The NCM needs to know how to get your plaque engraved and they won't do that until you are at least at 3000.
Your dealers words "accepted for production" are confusing. There is 2000 - Accepted by GM and there is 3000 - Accepted by Production Control.

You were correct! My order got bumped up last Tuesday and I am now at 3200 status so I can't make any changes without getting bumped out. Luckily I was only adding the ZYC Black mirrors and spoiler. I can live without that. I'm just excited I'm getting a 2020!
Good for you...I haven't seen anything concrete on the QC time limit. I suspect it will be variable depending on what the mean failure rates outside of spec they are seeing. I heard someone say a while back they expected the cars to be in QC from between two weeks to eight weeks but that was also not definitive or authoritative.
