Default QC hold

How many other people are logging in and checking this site numerous times a day hoping to see news of a release of the QC hold?

Question... Let's say that the initial QC hold is 4 weeks from the initial builds. Does that mean all orders for the first period of time should expect to see a 4 week hold? Or will that hold start to decrease? So a TPW of 3/2, 3/9 or 3/16 should expect to see that same ~4 weeks or should expect to see less?

It is most likely a one-time hold and all will be released at the same time.

When the QC hold is removed, timings will return to normal. Some problem could always show up that would cause another hold.

There is a QC hold? Some of the 2/10 folks already have a 4000-4100 status. Even some of 2/17 do as well. So are we saying there is a hold now for a few weeks?

GM stated they would start to ship cars at the end of February or the beginning of March.

That’s what I heard to. Thanks. Just wasn’t sure if that timetable has now changed.

let’s hope me . I’m at 3800 (2/17) and should know tomorrow once it updates.

Thanks for chiming in. I think some folks don’t believe there or others above 3800 and I was hoping GM didn’t QC hold any further than end of this month .

Follow on question, will there be an additional QC hold for the HTC's that are scheduled to start production on 04.06?

Everybody at 3800 status is technically at 4104 status in a few days. 4200 status is the important one.

I came to that probable explanation earlier today. Still unexplained is the progression of those event codes in between 3800 and 4200 and which, if any remain active (‘'Y') when at 4200. This is all in the weeds IMO.

Absolutely. 4104 means the paperwork for the shipping company has been created so that they can take delivery of the vehicle and transport it to the final destination. Fingers crossed, hopefully Everyone's Corvette starts to ship at the end of the week.
